Some of these materials, particularly posters, have been designed to be printed in 11 x 17 inch format. Note: You will need to have paper of the appropriate size in your printer, otherwise printing may be stretched out over 2 or more pages (for instance, if you are printing an 11 inch by 17 inch poster, but your printer only prints on 8 1/2 inch by 11 inch paper, then using this technique will force the content to print over several sheets). Within this section is a drop-down box labeled "Page Scaling". Within the Print window, look for the section entitled "Page Handling".Click on "File", and on the drop-down menu that appears, select "Print" the Print window will pop up.When printing, the document seems to shrink and does not line up properly (especially the brochure)!

For more information on PDF files, please see CDC's File Formats page. For best results, it is recommended that a professional printshop print both the color and black-and-white copies. Once the original draft has been printed, you can make copies on a color copier or high-quality black-and-white copy machine. If one is not available, save the file to an external media device (flash drive, disk, CD/DVD-ROM, etc.) and bring it to a professional printshop to have it printed there.
